chloe pinson

class of 2020~ newton county high school

Chloe was such a joy to work with. Of course, i have know her family for years but i had never been around chloe that much. We started the session downtown on a beautiful day! her brother, grandma, and mom were there for the session. We laughed and laughed and then laughed some more! i love that whole crew.

I had the pleasure of doing her brother’s senior photos a few years ago and this session was just as fun if not more so. Sometimes in life you don’t realize how great life is until something changes… well the past few weeks have taught us to not take the normal way of life for granted. i would do anything for a perfect laughing, hugging, carefree day like this day was.

i feel an extra sadness for my senior class but i know that each one of my clients this year will go and do great things in where ever life takes them. Chloe is one of those seniors. She is kind, funny, quiet (until you get her comfortable with you), beautiful, and was so laid back during the whole session! i love when a session turns into memories and last for a lifetime. i love clients that are like family. thank you again sweet girl for these memories!

Senior- class of 2020

This day couldn’t have been more perfect with the weather! I remember Megan’s mom saying “i’ve been praying all week that we would have the best weather day!” We had a few spots planned out but most didn’t turn out so we went exploring for new spots. This sometimes is the best as far as locations go. We definitely just winged the whole “location” thing and it worked out in our favor. The outfits were perfect for each location. We started at a yellow wall I found a few months prior and would always forget to use it. This day it worked out and the pics were so cute with it. Next we hit up a few spots on the side of the road that we might have even trespassed but who knows?? Our last outdoor location was at Dunn’s Fall and these also were so pretty.

I always love getting to shoot seniors. Some people ask me why? Why not this or that? My answer is always that seniors are kind of like shooting weddings because these are once in a lifetime. These are the last big step before your baby leaves you for college/work the next year. The last year with them at home. It’s a milestone that I love to be a part of. Thank you again Megan and LeAnn. I had the best time!

Hill Family

meridian, ms

The Hill family was a joy to work with. Lauren and her crew was super laid back and easy! The boys had fun with their precious pup throughout the session. I loved getting to know all of them!

The one thing that i hold dear about my job is getting to meet all kinds of people throughout my career. This part of my job is truly what makes everyday special. Each family is different… some are quiet, some are loud, some are nervous, some are laid back… Lauren and her crew were fun and laid back! Thank you again for allowing me to capture these precious memories that you will hold dear to your heart for many years!

P.S. come back next year!! haha!

McMillian Maternity

Collinsville, MS

I have known Ashley and Collins for years now… I remember my very first session with Collins. She was my heart right from the beginning. We are so much fun together! This past maternity session i got to spend the afternoon photographing ashley and collins. They both are beautiful!

Ashley was glowing during this perfect sunset session. She knows i love a good sun photo and she feels the same way. The weather called for cloudy skies all day… but about 15 minutes before we started the session the sun came out. It showed out all afternoon glowing the prettiest light on both of them!

These photos are some of my favorite of collins because i can see the love she shares with her precious mom. Love you both!

Madison was such a joy to work with. I remember photographing her when she was in middle school! I can’t believe she is now a senior. Her sweet mom allowed me to capture her photographs right when I started my photography business and i am truly thankful she came back to capture these gorgeous senior portraits.

I hope you enjoy all of these photographs as much as i did capturing your sweet self!

Shelby Gray

Rosemary Beach; Aly’s Beach, Florida

This weekend was perfect. Shelby and I had talked about the weather for a couple of weeks prior and the day ended up being absolutely perfect. She had a variety of outfits that fit perfectly for the session. We had plan to break the session up in two parts.. some town pics with the cute buildings and streets and also the beach at sunset. These were more beautiful than i could have imagined. Shelby, you were beautiful the whole day!

Thank you again, Shelby for trusting me with your senior memories. I hope you have a wonderful year and cherish these memories forever!

Ava Partridge

my ava girl! i remember her very first photo session with me… it was suppose to be around an hour or so but we had sooo much fun that it probably lasted 3 hours. this was the first time i had been around her and her mom, angie. we talked and laughed the whole time. over the next few years angie ended up being jacee’s (my daughter) tumble teacher. after that happened i’ve had the privilege of becoming friends with their whole family.

it has been a special few years getting to shoot ava’s photographs over and over again. angie and i always have a plan of something new we want to try! i truly believe ava and i mesh so well together.. i tell her what i’m thinking (and sometimes i’m not that clear! haha!) and she seems to just get what i’m asking her to do. i feel like she is very comfortable and relaxed during our sessions which shows through the photographs. this is my goal as a photographer.. making my clients feel relaxed so their true beauty and joy shines.

i am so thankful for my dedicated clients that keep coming back to me over and over again… we become friends and this probably the best part of my entire job. thank you ava! i truly appreciate it:) and thank you angie for trusting me with your entire family! cannot wait to make more memories.

Mabry Ann 1 year old

where to begin? i have known cady and ben for a few years now… i have shot their engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, six month old, and now 1 year old session for their sweet Mabry Ann. time really does not wait for no one…

cady is a joy to work with. she always is so thankful for anything i do for her… this makes my job most enjoyable. it seems every time i capture beautiful images for her i think “these are my favorite that i’ve ever shot for her” then the next time i do i keep thinking the same thing. haha!

this hot august day was no different… we started about 8:30 on a saturday morning before it got awfully hot. from the very beginning Mabry Ann smiled and laughed the entire time! even when she fell in and hit her nose and got bit by ants! to say she is a happy 1 year old is an understatement… she is so full of joy!

thank you again for allowing me to capture these precious memories!! i love your sweet precious family and can’t wait for our next photo session :)

Mayes

Where to begin with this precious little girl??? I got to photograph her parent’s engagement, wedding, maternity and now these sweet pictures!! This day was so special to me because her parents have become like family to me. I love these types of sessions because they are so comfortable and fun. We honestly do just have fun. I don’t rush with 1 year old sessions… this is when you have to just go with it and let them do their thing. Brinley’s personality showed through the entire session!! All of her little expressions are so cute!

I could see the love that Mikaela has for her precious little girl. Thank you to Dylan and Mikaela for trusting me with these precious memories that you remember for the rest of your life. i love you all~

my lex

Honestly I do not know where to even begin with this post…

I keep thinking about next year and how this time next year she will be gone. No more coming over and laying in the bed with me or randomly taking the kids for snow cones or to football games. She will be at college. college!! I feel like she is my own.. I was in 11th grade when she was born and we’ve always been close… I don’t remember a time that we haven’t been.

When she was about 8 i got married and moved 15 hours from her. I remember she cried and cried at our wedding reception because she didn’t want me to leave her… this was the hardest. even though we spent many years not living in the same state we never skipped a beat. I would meet my sister in atlanta and bring both her and brooklee back to our apt in South Carolina.

After Jackson and Jacee was born she became their “big” sister and has always helped me with them when I needed her to. Sometimes throughout our journey it was hard to be a “friend” and an aunt because I was sooo young when she was born and I was also learning myself. I’ve tried to give advice and listen when she needed a shoulder to cry on. It was hard watching her grow up but so rewarding.

I am beyond proud of the young woman she has become. She is an amazing friend, cousin, daughter, niece and granddaughter. She got a scholarship to play softball at Southern Miss. and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this. She’s worked so hard for this… missing vacations, friend parties, sleeping late, and just doing normal kid stuff. The hard work has paid off and i couldn’t be happier for her.

I keep thinking about next year and how lonely it will be around here without her… We will miss her walking into the house and just hanging out with us because that’s who she is. She loves being around us. She loves my children like they are her brother and sister.

I pray she goes to college and meets amazing friends and follows her dreams… we will miss her beyond measure and I know we will be visiting every chance we get.

we love you lex—go do big things!

Brody and his BIG surprise!

Brody is one sweet 2 year old. We’ve known Brody and his family for a few years. My daughter Jacee loves Brody’s whole family and gets to see them every week for dance. Brody is just as sweet as he is cute! You can see the love that his parents both share for him and his love for them also.

Two days before the session I get a text from his mom that said “sooo we have a big surprise to announce during Brody’s session!” I knew right away how special this session would be for them. We met at Bonita Lakes on a hot Thursday afternoon. Brody was his fun laid back self. He played and played and played all afternoon!

He loved getting to run around and play in the water at the end. I love him and his family and I am thankful for the way they love my Jacee! I am so glad we’ve become such great friends over the past few years.

Myles 2 year old

Myles was perfect for his precious 2 year old photos. I loved spending a gorgeous Saturday morning with him and his mom and dad. You can tell how much they love their little boy! I captured Myles’s Christmas photo this past year and I could not believe how much he has grown since then. It made me realize how quickly time passes with each year….

He loved to play and run around during the session but always stopped to give me a cheese! This little boy might even play in the Masters one day with his golf swing!

champion wedding

July 6, 2019-

From the beginning of the day I could tell how special this couple and their families were. The love was shown through them and their friends, family and guests. Chaney is such a natural beauty with her laid back attitude. She wore a beautiful dress she bought from anthropology. It was perfect for her big day! I met JT the day of the wedding but knew if he was with sweet Chaney I would for sure like him.

JT’s love was shown for Chaney the moment I met him. Their first look was just how it was suppose to be…sweet, emotional and laid back. They both wrote the sweetest hand written notes to each other. This moment will be remembered throughout the years to come.

The ceremony was short but emotional and precious like these two are. The look on JT’s face when he saw his bride walking toward him was priceless. I get so lucky to be able to capture these moments of a lifetime. I love my job… it shows me how beautiful love is and how quickly things grow from season to season each year.

Thank you again to this precious couple for allowing me to capture this beautiful day with all of their family and friends. I hope you share many years of happiness together!
